SUITABILITY TEST
All customers have to go through this suitability test to check whether he/she can undergo LASIK treatment.
A) REFRACTION TEST : Our qualified optometrist will check the visual acuity to get the actual power of short- sightedness, long-sightedness and astigmatism.

One of the fastest auto refractor to take many measurements within 1 second, ensures accurate calculation of your true refractive error.

 
B) ORBSCAN DIAGNOSTIC TEST : This test is to check the thickness and curvature of corneal to determine whether the patients can undergo the LASIK treatment.

A corneal & anterior segment topography system which maps 18,000 data points of your corneal to analyze and create 2D & 3D corneal map for best treatment plan.

 
WHO IS A SUITABLE CANDIDATE
Are over 18 years of age
Have short-sightedness (myopia) up to -12.00 Dioptres
Have long-sightedness (hyperopia) up to +4.00 Dioptres
Have astigmatism up to 4.00 Dioptres
Have problems with your contact lenses
 
WHAT TO DO BEFORE LASIK TREATMENT
1) Contact lens wearer :

Patients who wear contact lenses must completely stop wearing lenses as following required days :
This period may be longer for some patients.
2)
Wash your hair and face before coming for LASIK. Do not apply any facial or eye makeup on the day of the surgery.
3)
Arrange for transportation. It is not advisable to drive just after the procedure and you will need someone to send you home.
4)
Please arrive at our center about 15 minutes prior to your appointed time. You will be briefed about the procedure and then be prepared for the treatment.
5)
Although your procedure only takes 20 minutes to perform, you will need to rest for 60-90 minutes at our center. During this period, you will not allowed to move around, so it is advisable to go to the washroom before the procedure.
6)
You are advised to take more rest for the first two days after the procedure. Strenuous activity and active reading should be avoided.
7) It is recommended that you wear sunglasses after the procedure to block out glare and to protect the eyes from any accidentally trauma.
